The artist behind KAArt

The site showcases works created in the fields of fiber art, printmaking, mixed media, and digital art. These diverse media are brought together through shared formal elements, while the narratives explore a variety of themes and approaches.

Fiber art emerges from a combination of painting, printing, and sewing. In its early stages, the work evoked totems, featuring linocut prints on fabric and motifs tied to mythology and historical-cultural contexts. These pieces often resembled totems from ancient cultures, with visual similarities to protective deities. The process also involved a highly expressive approach to stitching and matrix-making. Over time, the pieces evolved into forms resembling nets and tapestries, incorporating stuffing, raised textures, and holes connecting back and front of the object.

Printmaking remains a central starting point, although in more recent works it rarely appears on its own. Instead, it's often blended with painting or collage, where prints from different matrices are combined in layered compositions.

Digital works reflect a long-standing exploration using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate. Through digital drawing, animation, and the merging of photos with hand-drawn elements, new creative directions have emerged—some of which are now expanding into the realm of 3D.
